What is the Best Time to Get Pregnant?

Many couples have a dream of becoming parents one the day. Medically, there is nothing stopping them from starting a family but there are some factors that greatly influence their decision on what and when is the best time to get pregnant and raise a family.
Many contributing factors apart from infertility, can influence many women on what time to get pregnant and raise a family. First let us take a look at the socio-economic factor which can hinder a woman from getting pregnant on time. Due to the prevailing economic down turn, Many couples have been forced to reconsider getting pregnant and starting a family. The financial implication of raising a new born baby has really scared many potential parents from enjoying the joy of parenthood. The thought of the financial cost of ante-natal care, baby wardrobe, baby food, hospital bills etc has been the main reason many couples are changing their minds and postponing the time to get pregnant and start a family.
More so, age is also a contributing factor that influences a woman's decision on what time to get pregnant. While many women between the ages of 25-35, who are in their prime to conceive, often postpone the time to start a family. They would rather channel their energies in in building their careers and socialize. In contrast, women in their mid thirties and early forties would prefer to get pregnant as quickly as possible. The main reason many believed, is that the older the woman, the less chances of her getting pregnant.
In addition, another factor that greatly influences the decision of women to get pregnant is their careers. Due to the nature of their jobs, many women do postpone getting pregnant until some certain time in their lives when they are ready to switch jobs or resign to start a family. An example of such women are those in the military, in which the nature of their jobs won't allow them to get pregnant while in active service.
Stress is also a contributing factor that hinders a woman from getting pregnant. Being stressed out can't allow a woman's body to function optimally. Being on edge always due to the demanding nature of your job like running an office, frequent traveling, beating deadlines might lead to a change in lifestyle especially if your finances depends on such a job. This can make a woman so stressed up and always on edge thereby creating an unfavorable chemical environment in the body for conception to occur and thus, delaying a woman from getting pregnant.
